Although Mother Nature could have been more cooperative, she didn't deter community residents from enjoying Beltsville Day on June 6, 2010, an event that local urgent care provider Secure Medical Care participated in for the seventh year in a row. Beltsville Day is an annual event bringing the Beltsville community together for fun activities, visits with local vendors, live musical entertainment, and local performances.

Secure Medical Care Clinical Director Nichole Reilly greeted community members of all ages at Secure Medical Care's booth. “We take pride in our community involvement and in bringing quality health care to community members,” she said, “so we're always happy to be part of Beltsville Day.”

Nichole was assisted by the clinic's front desk supervisor, Mayra Robertson, and medical assistant Homero Salazar. Together the trio provided information about Secure Medical Care's wide variety of services to attendees and gave away an assortment of items, including balloons for children, before thunderstorms rolled in.

Beltsville Day is hosted by the Beltsville Recreation Council and the Beltsville Community Center.
